ＩＧＧＹＰＯＰ＆ＳＴＯＯＧＥＳの代表作　ＦＵＮ　ＨＯＵＳＥ　１９７０年発売になった２枚目のアルバムでＭＣ５と並んで元祖パンクと称されるＩＧＧＹ　ＰＯＰのキャリアの中でも最高傑作！！　　ＭＣ５のように政治的なメッセージなど一切なく、ひたすら音楽における暴力性とフラストレーションをぶつけるライブは過激でガラスの破片の上をのたうち回ったり、肌に鉛筆を刺したり体中をスティックで叩きまくるといったパフォーマンスは今や伝説となっている　この時既にメンバー全員がドラックに溺れドロドロの状態で録音したのだろう、１９７０年にこんな音がレコーディングされた事自体狂気の沙汰ではなく、奇跡に近いと思います　ダムドがカバーした「１９７０」を収録　因みにこのレコードジャケットを横にして見たら炎みたいに見えていた模様が実はIGGY POPの顔だって知っていました？私は長年聴いてきたのに５年前ぐらいに気がつきました

僕にとってこのアルバムのイメージは、
とろっとろに煮込んだシチュー。
舌に触れた瞬間、口中に渦巻く熱と味のグルーヴ!
そう、このアルバムは何よりグルーヴがスゴい。
イギーの声はブルース・リーのパンチの様に鋭い。
考えるな、感じろ。

ストーン・ローゼズの1stとは対・そして裏にある、
もう一つの史上最高のグルーヴ名盤。
勃起せずにいられない。

乱暴な言い方すると、イギーだったらこのアルバムとその前のファーストの２枚にイチバンおいしいところが凝縮されているので、へんにベスト盤とか買うよりも、このStooges時代の２枚をおさえるのが正解！後にダムド等のＵＫパンクに影響を与えるほどの、真の衝動性が感じられるサウンド！これ買ったヒトは、忘れずに1ｓｔも買ってください。ちなみに、知名度的にけっこう高い「Raw Power」は、いったんストゥージズ一旦解散後、組みなおした別バンドによるアルバムなので、音はラフすぎるくらいにラフで、ちょっとチープな感触さえするような、いわゆる「バッドボーイズ」系に気に入られそうな作品ですが、ちょっとこれら２枚とはサウンド的にも別モノというかんじがします。
