raw power が再ミックスがされ、fun houseなどはセッション風景を詰め込んだ"やりすぎｂｏｘ"が出た今となっては、残されたオリジナルアルバムはこの１ｓｔ。早くにリマスター新装再発して欲しいものです。

iggy popが自分のテーマソングの如く延々とやり続けている重要曲"i wanna be your dog"個人的には次作収録の"1970"より好きな"1969"、sex pistolsカバーも凄いが原曲もどうぞの"no fun" そして、余り語られないようですが実はやたらにカッコ良い "real cool time"！！

これらが良い音で聴けますように．．．の願いをこめて星４つ、です。（現行タイプのＣＤは、音も作りもやっつけ仕事の見本みたいなものなので、ホントは星２~３つ、てところなんですが）

ちなみに、元velvet の john cale は「便宜上」プロデューサーとしてクレジットされていますが、iggy いわく「彼は"we will fall"でヴィオラを弾いただけで、製作に関しては全部自分でやった」．．．そうです。

代表曲「I wanna be your dog」を始め佳曲の多いアルバムなだけに破壊的パワーを感じさせてくれないMixが残念。
しかし彼らが登場しその後シーンに与えていく影響や多くのフォロワーを生み出していく事を考えるとこのアルバムの持つ意義も大きく、重要作であることは間違いは無い。
Rmas盤を熱望。

「アイ・ワナ・ビー・ユア・ドッグ」を始め、曲名見るだけでも、そのすごさがわかる、パンクのバイブルのひとつ。
ＵＫパンクが、単にフーやキンクスなどの60's ブリティッシュ・ビートから突然変異的に生まれたのではなく、ここにその暴力的志向のルーツがあったことを、このアルバムからも確認できる（ピストルズがここから「ノーファン」を、そしてストゥージズの2ｎｄからは、ダムドが「1970」をカバー）。

何回聴いても飽きないほど、カッケイー曲ばかりで固められた、スゲー内容デス！この1ｓｔと2ｎｄで、イギー/ストゥージズはキマリってかっ！！
