V．Ｒの３ｒｄ。ここにきて彼らは遂に最高のアルバムを作った。メジャー契約第一弾となった今作ではまず音造りが格段にアップ！クリヤーかつ重厚な音により、より一層作品のレベルがあがった。カールのＶＯはますます伸びやかにアグレッシブになり、マークとジェフのツインギターは競うようにメロディーをつむぎだし、理想のメタル像を作り出している。ヘヴィーな2、ドラマティックな4、10、スピーディーな7、そしてメロディーが感動的な9など捨て曲なしのまさに名作である。
