はっきり言ってこの曲は世間では無視されているように思います。僕の知る限り、ベスト盤やテレビでの尾崎追悼番組でも取り上げられることはありませんでした。この曲の発表後すぐ、彼は覚醒剤で捕まったためでしょうか？しかし人間の孤独を唄った唄でこれ以上のものを僕は知りません。9分以上の長い曲ですが緊張感が途切れることはありません。アルバム「街路樹」にも収録されていますが、こちらのシングル・バージョンの方が良い出来だと思います。尾崎全盛の頃、ビートたけしのオールナイト・ニッポンを一週間の最大の楽しみとする高校生だった僕には彼のクサいメッセージは正直、敵でした。当時、ああいった心情は口に出してはいけないことだったのです。２０年近く経った今、素直に聴くことができます!。

発売当時、あまりにも衝撃が凄過ぎて、しばらく他の音楽に対する興味が失せたほどでした。
　
　おそらくこの楽曲を作った頃、最も病魔に侵されていたと思いますが、凡人にこのような魂を掻き乱すような作品が生み出せるはずもありません。
伴奏無の静かな語り口から、一瞬の静寂、そして激しいシャウト。

音楽で感動するというのは、この曲を聴く時に最も当てはまる言葉だと思います。

なにを聞いても同じように思えてきた人、生涯大切にしていきたい宝物を探している人、そしてＯＺＡＫＩを知りたい人は是非手にしてください。

発売日に聴いた時にはボリュームを絞った程の迫力に圧倒されました。

これを聴くとアルバムバージョンは物足らなく感じました。

そして街中の風の中との差に驚くと思います。
