5.0 out of 5 stars 日本が誇れるスラッシュメタルバンドはこいつらだ, 2002/11/13
日本人だってすんごいのができる＝これが証明されている。こいつらのやっていることはかっこよすぎます。ほんと。演奏にしてもレベルが本当に高い水準に達している。ほとんどの人が日本のバンドだと気付かないだろう。まじで。そんだけすごいのだこいつらは。火山のように吹き出すエネルギー、切り込み鋭いギターのリフ、叩き付けるようなヴォｰカル、これらが渾然一体となって、聴く者に襲い掛かる。ヘビーなロックの昔からのファンなら思わズにやりな部分が多いのも事実。洋楽のおいしい部分取りしたとも言える。そんな強力なアルバムだ。モーターヘッド好きにはたまらんでしょうね。日本人でここまでやるとは恐ろしいやつらだ。

マイケル・ワグナーをプロデューサーに迎い入れ作られた彼らの最高傑作。スピットも素晴らしいですが、アウト・レイジらしさでいえばこの作品が一番ではないでしょうか。作品中もっともヘヴィーでスピードナンバーもあり、リフ、ソロ、ベース、ドラム、ヴォーカル総べてが最高な作品になっています。今までの彼らの作品は音が悪い作品が多かったが、この作品は音の面でもクリアーされており、良い音で録音されています。ライブで盛り上がる事間違い無しのメガロ・マニアは必聴!!

OUTRAGEの95年作。個人的に本作が全作品中で一番好きなアルバムだ。トータル的なバランスが本当に素晴らしく楽曲の押し引きが絶妙でアルバムにほとんど隙が無い。１曲目のメガロマニアから暴走が始まる。ほかにも４、５，８、１０、１１曲目の瞬殺スラッシュ・ハードコアナンバーや２、３、７曲目のようなDOOMYでスラッジィなナンバーなど聴き所満載。楽曲自体がいい意味でPopなので聴き疲れなど一切無く爽快感でお腹一杯になる。

橋本直樹の任侠ヴォーカル、阿部洋介のブルドーザーギター、最高っす。和製メタリカの称号を外し、彼等は、アウトレイジになったのだ。メガロマニア最高。
