5.0 out of 5 stars 最近のヴァンゲリスの音楽を聴きたい人のために, 2002/4/18
　未発表曲２曲を含む、1990年代に発売された６つのアルバムからのベスト盤です。
　未発表曲は、映画『Bitter Moon（邦題：赤い航路）』と『The Plague（邦題：プレイグ）』からそれぞれ１曲です。

　各曲間は、フェードイン、フェードアウトや波の音などにより全て繋がれています。それぞれ違うアルバムからの選曲ですが、全体として統一感があり、１つの作品として成立しています。ただし、統一感を優先させたためでしょうか、各アルバムの名曲が全て収録されているわけではなく、いわゆる「ベスト曲集」ではないと思います。

　異なるアルバムから１つの新しい作品を作ったという意味で秀作です。
　とくに11~15曲目の流れというのが、静かで、かつ深い感動を覚えずにはいられません。この部分だけを聴くだけでもこのＣＤを買う価値があると思います。
