2.0 out of 5 stars 映像はきれい、主役はすごい美人だが、ストーリーは…うーん。。。, 2004/8/28
蛇が人間の女性に変じた役どころの、ジョイ・ウォン（王祖賢）、マギー・チャン（張曼玉）の二人は大変きれいです。舞台の設定である、中国の南宋時代の衣装もよく似合っています。

特にジョイ・ウォンはこの作品が美の頂点かもしれないですね。彼女はこの作品の後、特に大作に出ないまま女優業をかなり長期に渡り休業してしまいました。

「楽園の瑕」は途中で降板して、出演したシーンはすべてカットされましたし、「大英雄」はめちゃくちゃなコメディですし、それからだいぶ後になって「北京原人」に出ますが、これはあまりおすすめしません。たいして面白くない作品です。

話が横道にそれましたが、この作品のストーリーのほうは今ひとつです。深く考えてみるものではないと思います。

本作の見せ場は、だいたいマギー・チャンがものにしています。ジョイ・ウォンはそういった意味では確かにすごくきれいですが、完全に影が薄くなっています。

全体として、細かいことをいわずに大雑把に見るタイプの作品ではないでしょうか。……ということで、星２つです。

なんだかはちゃめちゃな映画でした。あり得ないことがいっぱい！でもこういうのがツイ・ハーク監督っぽいですよね。
主演のジョイ・ウォンとマギー・チャンが色っぽかった！「HERO」の時には考えられないくらい・・・。あと出演していたお坊さんが「方世玉」に出ていた悪役の提督(？)のような感じがしてうれしかった~

内容はというと、理解しがたいものがありました。味方だったお坊さんがいきなり敵になってたり・・・(笑)
冷静に観るとバカバカしく思える人もいるかもしれませんが、私はこういうの好きです！
