ケビンスペイシー監督と知り、すっごく期待して見始めた。こじんまりとした一部屋での、数人の人間たちのかけ引きと、見えない店の外の様子を想像させられ、どうなるのか最後まで興味を持ち続けさせられながらも、たいした盛り上がりもなく、話は進む。一応予想外の決着を見させてもらって「おもしろかった」と言うべきだろうか。

彼自身がこれまで出演してきた作品に比べたら、予算の関係もあったからだろうか、何もかもが簡素質素で、残念でした。しかし例え豪華キャストで撮っても物足らなかっただろう。つまりストーリーの出来具合があまりよくなかったのだと思う。ほとんど店内の人間たちの会話だけ。それならそれなりに、見る者の目や耳を引き付けて離さないような工夫や刺激が欲しかった。

今後は「セブン」の際の様に、ちょっと顔を出すだけでも存在感のある「俳優」に専念する彼を期待したい。

「プリズン・ブレイクU」でＦＢＩマホーン役の彼を見て夢中になってしまい、彼が出演している映画を見まくってます！「アルビノ・アリゲーター」はラストがあっけないとか言う感想を目にしますが、私的には、なんともいえない重みがあって最後まで楽しめました。ちょっと前まで夢中だったヴィゴ氏（今も好きですよ☆でもフィクナー氏が上）も出ていてなかなかおいしい映画でした。

正直、期待外れだった。
単調としか良いようが無いし、予想外の結末は後味の悪いものでした。
深いテーマがあってのコトでしょうが、観ていて、どうもスッキリしない映画でした。
