１９９７年に日テレ系列で放送されたドラマ。ＫｉｎＫｉＫｉｄｓが共演、主役を演じたドラマ。

「臨海地区幕原で大地震があった」と言うニュースを聞き、ヤマト（光一）とタケル（剛）が、友人と姉を探しに自転車で向かうシーンからこのドラマは始まる。（ちなみに二人は全くの他人。）その後「幕原」ではある特殊な最近によって大人はみんな死んでしまい、子供たちだけが、必死で生き残る土地と二人は知ると同時に、二人もその地に閉じ込められてしまう。暴力と権力がはびこる幕原で、ヤマトとタケルは友情を結び、深め、仲間を増やしながら、幕原から脱出する・・・と言う話。

暴力的なシーンが多いので、このドラマは通常の時間帯に再放送できないそうなので、見たい人はビデオで見るしかありません！ので、以前見た事があってまた見たい！と言う人は必須アイテム（？）です。また、キンキ以外にも嵐の（当時はＪｒ．）相葉・松本や元Ｊｒ．の小原裕貴。また宝生舞や、矢田亜希子らも出ている。

特殊な設定なので、好みは分かれると思いますが。謎が徐々に明らかになっていくストーリーは結構面白いと思います。でも、出演者がアイドルメインなので、そういうのが嫌いな人はちょっと・・・かもですが；

徳山秀典さんが出演していたので、どうしても観たくてビデオプレーヤーと共に購入しました。当時内容については色々批判もあったようですが、１２年経った今見てもなかなか面白いストーリーで、主役のキンキキッズのみならず松じゅんや相場君の可愛らしい演技に思わず笑みが浮かびます。バックの子達も現在メディアでちらほら見かけることもあり、それを見つける楽しみもあります。ちょっと値段が高いかなとは思いましたが、私は購入して良かったと思っています。

いろんな意味で有名(話題)になってしまったドラマ。
暴力シーンが多い、パクり、ジャニーズがらみ等々。
DVD化はまずなさそうなのは残念ではあるがドラマとしては面白いとは思うのでいいと思うんですけどね。
