天知茂は自分の俳優としてのイメージを何十年もかけて創り上げた。時代劇でも現代劇でも、ニヒルな役もとぼけた役も上手い。この人は努力を忘れぬSMARTな方で、ニヒルな役を演じても、観る者には人間天知茂の隠そうとする優しさを感じてしまう。3シリーズ202本に登場するゲストが凄い。何と、天知茂にとっては雲の上の大スターが出演していた！観る者には大きな楽しみ、喜びであった。わき役もベテランが固めている。これらが出来たのは、天知茂の人柄の良さにもよる。音楽がこれまた好いんだね！「音楽：渡辺岳夫」、この文字を何度多くのTV番組で観たことか。このシリーズは何度見ても飽きない。天知茂らしい歌も好きです。天知茂も渡辺岳夫も50代半ばで逝かれた。このCDには天知茂のヴォーカルもフルサイズで復刻され、初CD化されたものもある。これは買っておくべきでしょう！

以前から探していた　非情のライセンス　の音楽がついに見つかり、さっそく
ゲットいたしました。あの会田刑事（天知茂氏）のドラマ画面が目に浮かびます。CDが届くのがたのしみですね。こころがわくわくします。

「非情のライセンス」は、1973年から７年間、３シリーズ202話にわたって、
NET(現テレビ朝日)系で放映された、天知茂主演、東映製作の刑事ドラマ。
ニヒルでアウトロー、巨悪には手段を選ばない、会田刑事の強烈なキャラクターが人気を呼びました。
（所属は、東映の好きな、警視庁特捜部。）
毎回みせる、会田刑事の容赦ない捜査と、悲劇的なストーリー展開、そして、彼の
派手なスーツ(幅の広い襟)とネクタイ、トレンチコートのファッションが印象的。

音楽は、テレビ「子連れ狼」「影同心」アニメ「巨人の星」「機動戦士ガンダム」他で有名な、渡辺岳夫。
渡辺氏のドラマ作品では、初の単独CD化！
下記(ポリドール・シングル・ヴァージョン)のみステレオ収録、19,20,は初CD化。
19. 　非情のライセンス ... インスト・テーマ曲。オープニング・タイトル。
20. 　非情の街 ... 上記に歌詞をつけた、第２シリーズ前半のオープニング・タイトル。
24. 　昭和ブルース ... 毎回のエンディングに流れた有名な主題歌。
各回のエピソードにあわせて、1番から4番が使い分けられました。
なんと作曲が映画音楽の大家(「七人の侍」他)でもある佐藤勝！

主題歌は、TVサイズ・モノラルとレコードヴァージョン・ステレオ収録の両方を完全収録し、
テーマ曲、ドラマBGM、の全24曲に、主要な作品音楽はすべて収録した本盤の完成度は非常に高いです。
ブックレットには、作品解説、全作品リストなどを掲載しています。
（作品の写真を使っていないのが唯一残念。）

第一話に刑務所の「門」から出てくるところで始まり、最終回(通産202話目)に刑務所に入るところで終わったことが、
この作品らしく、非常に印象的でした。
会田刑事は永遠に不滅です！
