近頃のライブでもなお披露されるような、初期の代表的作品です。
売り上げ枚数はそこまで伸びてないまでも、完成度は非常に高いように感じます。

まず曲全体から伝わってくるのは優しさというか、温かさというか、そういった印象です。
韻を踏んだり、特殊なコードを使ったり、そんなことは何もしていない、
何ともステレオタイプな、でも他のMr.Children作品に劣らぬ輝きを放っています。

必聴です！！

何の理由も無いのに、不意に聞くと泣いちゃう位良い曲です。
恋している人には、進行形で進む自分の恋をこの歌に重ねて、
恋していない人には、前の彼氏の姿を重ねたり、今好きな人に重ねてみたり。
何通りにも楽しめて人によって、大きく解釈が違いそうな一曲です。

とにかく、めっちゃいい曲なんですよ！！

っていうか、私は抱きしめたいというよりか抱きしめられたい。（笑）

あたしの中で、ミスチルの曲の中で、ベスト5に入る名曲だと思う。メロディに、桜井くんの甘く切ない声が、
いいんです！^^ゞ
これからも、ステキな曲をいっぱい世におくりだして
ほしいと思う。でもきっと、「抱きしめたい」は、
あたしの中ではベスト5に入るに違いない…。
