聴いた直後,頭が明後日の方向へいってしまっている自分に気づいた。キョ~レツ。うしろめたさや惨めさや人のドロドロした部分をえぐる大槻の詞は相変わらず不気味に気持ちいい。非常に才能のある人です。スラッシュあり,マーチありと曲もバラエティー豊か。

やはり「人生は大車輪」と「戦え！何を！？人生を！」の2曲が秀逸。
「人生は大車輪」の”我が友よ、儚むな、ブーツをピカリ磨こう”の下り、「月光蟲-夜歩くプラネタリウム人間」の
”歌おうよ、この世を儚んで”の頃から精神的に変化しているのが見受けられて面白い。
テーマが全体的に狂気や死から生にシフトしつつある時期か。

「戦え！何を！？人生を！」は、永遠に繰り返されるかと思われる”戦え！何を！？人生を！”のシャウトが、
次第に苦しく悲しげな響きに変わり、最後の最後に振り絞った声で”何を！？”が消えて、”人生を戦え！！”の一言で終わる。
何度聴いても胸が詰まる。隠れた名曲。

音楽以外の活動もしている大槻ケンヂ、
彼の音楽を聴いてみました。
ひねくれた歌詞にメタルエッセンス配合の楽曲。
こんな個性的な音楽は久々に聞きました！
１曲目から大槻ケンヂの世界観がモロに出ていて、はまりました。
特にすばらしいと思ったのが「戦え！何を？人生を！」です。
僕は不安神経症という病気なのですが、
日々、イースタンユースの「迫りくる闇の中にこそ、探していたものがあるはずだ」
という歌詞を心に刻みながら生活しています。
そして「戦え！何を？人生を！」を聞いた時に感動してしまいました・・・。
エッセイで、彼も同じような病気で苦しんだ時期があったといいます。
この言葉を胸に刻みつつ、前へ少しずつ進んで行こうかな、と
ネガティブからポジティブへと変えてくれた曲でもあります。
いい曲だ・・・。

　『ソウルコックリさん』と『戦え！何を！？人生を！』が双璧。是非聴いて笑い、熱き血に燃えて欲しい。『生きてあげようかな』は大槻の詞と本城の曲がともに素晴らしく、泣けます。他にも名曲盛りだくさん。
