実際の演奏された曲目も殆ど皆の知っている有名ところをおさえております。大会場の臨場感とは違ってサザンでは珍しく普段中々お目にできないライブハウスならでは、良さを観賞できます。

新宿リキッドルームでファンクラブ限定で行われたライブ。超シンプルな照明に、花火やドライアイスなどの特殊効果(狭いので花火はNGですが)を使っていないせいか、チャコや勝手にシンドバッドを歌っているにも関わらず、いい意味で彼らがアマチュアバンドに見える。しかも、6人ともとても楽しそう。サポメンを起用せずにシンドバッドや思い過ごしも恋のうちや女呼んでブギのアレンジを完成させるのは流石

25周年の時に、「ソツのないプロ集団じゃなくて、根っからの音楽ファンとしてみんなの前に元気を持って来れるようなバンドで、これからもいたいと思うんです」と言ってたけど、歌舞伎町のサザンは、まさにそんなバンドだったと思う

９０年以降のサザンが好きな方には向かないかもしれないが、比較的古い曲をなにより楽しそうにやっているのがいい。有名な曲とマイナーな曲のバランスもいい。マイナーでもいい曲が山ほどある彼らの良さがより分かり、ファンと一体となり盛り上がる感じは市販されている他のライブとは一味違う。サザンが好きな方には絶対お勧めできるライブビデオです。
