この曲はさまざまな音楽を歌いこなす坂本真綾さんのスタートラインです。彼女の唄を初めて聞くのなら、どんな曲よりも最初にこの約束はいらないを聞いてみて下さい。何年経っても絶対に色褪せることの無い力が必ずあります。

坂本真綾さんの声と出会えた記念すべき歌。そして“歌声”について考え始めたキッカケの歌。
彼女の歌は聴いていてホッとします。安心していられます。いつかライヴに行きたい！

天空のエスカフローネのオープニングテーマ曲です。

曲自体はとてもファンタジックかつ幻想的なイメージの曲でヨーロッパ辺りの民族音楽っぽい曲調でもあり、そういった音楽が好きな方にはお勧めです。
