この曲はキョンキョンの中でもぶっちぎりのセールスを挙げた曲ではありませんが、完成度においてキョンキョンの枠を超え８０年代アイドルポップの名曲の一つに数える事ができる曲だと思います。

季節感がとても表れている詩とアコースティックの冷たく輝いた音色が更に冬の冷たい情景を増幅させます。木枯らしはおそらく関東の人じゃないと実感がわかないでしょうがとてもよく季節感が出ています。

キョンキョンのキャラクターも一途さを歌う曲のテーマに合致しており、キョンキョンじゃなければ歌えなかった曲でもあります。

叙情豊かな詩的なフレーズと幻想的なメロディーは流石アルフィー高見沢だと思います。アルフィーがカバーしている同名の曲も素晴らしいです。

この曲は毎年秋から冬にかけて聞きたくなる１曲ですね。
イントロのギターがものすごくせつなくて、泣けてきますね~。

そして、キョンキョンのせつないボーカル！
彼女は、どんな曲でも歌いこなせるんですね！
落ち葉を踏みしめ、せつない気持ちに浸りながら聞きたい、そんな曲です。

カップリングされた「スターダスト・メモリー」も名曲です！
