涙そうそうのカバー曲で、ハワイアン音楽ファン以外にも注目されるようになったケアリイ・レイシェルの2ndアルバム。
もちろんフラをやってる人で彼を知らなかったらモグリです。

他のハワイアン系のアーティストのアルバムと異なり、ハワイ語のトラディショナルな曲、ハワイ語のコンテンポラリー曲、英語の曲と３つの音楽が入っていることで、これは彼のアルバムすべてがそうなっています。

私のお気に入りは、人魚のことを歌ったハワイアンのトラディショナルナンバー、カナナカ。そして英語のコンテンポラリー曲、Can you feel the love tonight, Now and Forever、そしてハワイ語の響きが堪能できるマイカイ・カ・オーイヴィ・オ・カアラ（フラ＆ハワイ語を習っている人は、ケアリイのAEIOUの母音の発音に注目！）など。

ケアリイの声自体が本当に素晴らしいので、ハワイアン以外の曲でもその魅力がたっぷり堪能できます。日本版のみ、デビューアルバムからの名曲、カヴァイプナヘレのライブバージョンを収録！

今までハワイアンミュージックは、フラをしてる方や、ハワイに夢中になってる方だけのつまらない音楽（失礼ですが）だと思っていました。でも初めてケアリィ・レイシェルのこのＣＤを聞き、とても聞きやすく、全身が癒された感じで本当にびっくりしました。ハワイアン初心者の方には特にお勧めの１枚だと思います。

ハワイアンを歌っているケアリイレイシェルは好きなのですが、それ以外の曲はいまいち。彼のアルバムをいろいろ購入して、好きな曲だけ抽出して聞いています。
