2002 remastered reissue of the German melodic speed metal pioneer's 1989 album. Includes five bonus tracks, 'Law & Order', 'Mirror', 'Invisible Horizons' (Live), '(Those Who Got) Nothing To Lose' & the previously unreleased, 'Shame On You' (Acc.).

このアルバムでやっとRAGEはRAGEとしての個性を他に認めさせることが出来た。
ドイツ出身のメロディアスなメタルというだけで､
ハロウィン等が引き合いに出されていたが､
このバンドはまったく違う。
メロディアスでありながらも､ヘヴィでスラッシー、
さらには他には真似の出来ない独特なリフというこのバンドでしかありえない
個性がある。

もちろん前作までもその個性は持ち合わせてはいたが､
楽曲の中身がついて来れていなかった。

本作にてついに曲の質と個性がかみ合ったと思う。

名曲「 Invisible Horizons」「 Light Into The Darkness」は必聴!!
その他の曲もこれら名曲に迫る勢いの良い曲。

スピード感がありメロディアスでキャッチーなパワーメタル。
と書くとありがちなメロパワ系と同じに思われるかも知れないが、メロディの質がどこか違い独特の味を持っている。
メロディアスはメロディアスだが何か微妙に違う。

全体的にクラシカル臭が無いことと、ピーヴィの粗削りだが力強いヴォーカルのため浮ついた感じがまったくしないことがメタルならではのアグレッションにつながっている。

最近のメロパワ系は疾走感があってメロディアスなんだけどどうもへなちょこっぽくて…とか、メロディアスにしたいからってクラシカルにすりゃいいってもんでもなかろうよ、とお嘆きの人にお勧めです。
これが気に入ったなら前作のPERFECT MANもどうぞ。
