CD化されてたんですね、G-FORCE。LPレコードで聞いてたので、びっくりしました。このアルバムのギターの音に驚かされます。この時代にして、これだけ歪んだ音がだせるとは！次ぎの”DIRTY INGERS"や”BACK ON THE STREETS"とも、その前の"COLOSIUM "とも全然違った録音がされた様で、素晴らしいギターの音が聞けます。初来日のライブも観に行きましたが、いいギタリストですね。

個人的には1.YOUと4.I LOOK AT YOUのギターソロが大好きです。

ギター好きな若い人に特に聞いてほしいアルバムです。

１９８０年リリースされた幻の名盤と言われたアルバム・・・アナログ当時日本では未発売で入手困難でした。本当にＣＤ化は嬉しい限りです・・・ハードロックの珠玉の１枚です。とにかく全編にわたるギタープレイが圧巻・・・曲を生かしながらの素晴らしいソロが聴けます。２曲目「ホワイトナックルズ」から３曲目「ロッキンアンドローリン」の流れは鳥肌もので、ゲイリーのかっこよさを堪能出来ます。メンバーは、マークナウシーフ（Ｄｒ）・トニーニュートン（Ｂ）・ウィリーディー（Ｖｏ）です・・・いまだに解決してないのですが、トニーはライフタイムでベースをやっていた人と同一なのかなあ？驚いたのはあのヨアヒムキューンがキーボードとして参加・・・ＪＡＺＺでは超有名な人ですよね。信じられない！！個人的に一番好きなのはラストを飾る「ダンシン」・・・本当カッコいいロックナンバー！！ハードロックを愛する人にマストな１枚・・・必聴！！！！

時代背景的に言えばNew Wave Of British Heavy Metal創生期。当時、英国では"Jet"という新興レーベルからの発売だった。そう、あのOzzy OsbourneがRandy Rhoadsを伴ってソロとしてデビューしたのも調度同じ時期、そして、同じレーベル。何かのフェスティヴァルのライヴ音源をレーベル・メイトのOzzy Osbourne、Magnumと一緒に確か2枚組のシングルで出すなんていうアイデアも有ったはずだ。しかし、そこまで辿り着かない間にこのG-Forceは空中分解をしている。怒ったレーベルは、Gary Moore干しに掛かった訳だ。
だからと言ってこのアルバムが悪いかというとまるで逆。数あるGary Mooreの音源でもトップクラスの激ハード・ロックだ。指から煙が出ていそうな程に弾きまくっても尚且つ充分メロディの固まり。曲作りも変に色気を出さずにストレートな点も今作に勝るアルバムなし。まさにGary Mooreの旬を捉えた大名盤。
