新居さんを聴こうと思う人はたいてい、すでにどこかで彼女のうたを聴いている、確信的なファンが多いと思う。
私の場合、さいしょの出会いは友だちのカーステレオだった。
友人はもともと菅野ようこさんやザバダックが好きで、私も新居さんは知らなくても同じようなものが好きだと知っていたのでかけてくれたんだろう。

静かで浮遊感があるのに、やたら歌詞がはっきり聞こえてきて、歌詞ごと心に残ったのを覚えている。
その後、なぜか私は新居さんの「空の森」や「鉱石ラジオ」を先に買ったけど、「降るプラチナ」が一番欲しかった。
アルバム全体すべての曲に、かならず印象的な部分がある。
何度も聴いて、発見が増えるアルバム。・・・新居さん、たいがいそうですけど。

ビジュアル的にも一つ一つの曲的にも、私はかなり満足できました。
フシギワールドに入り込めるのは確実。すてきなアルバムです。
きっと手離せなくなるので、ぜひ買ってほしいです。

このアルバムは新居さんのアルバムの中では少し暗い雰囲気目な感じです。
しかし、一曲目スプートニクからもう新居さんワールドに
入ってしまうと思います。（術中にはまってくる
この「降るプラチナ」は聞きやすく静かな歌詞が多く暗めなのですが曲を
何回も聞いてくうちに凄い心に温かいものが伝わってきます。

こういう文では説明できない事が多いのでまずは買って
昭乃さんの歌そして曲を存分に聞いていろいろ感じて下さい。

私は１曲目、３曲目と降るプラチナ（10曲目）が好きです。
