1999にリリースされた hal の 5th.アルバム。（フルアルバムとしては 3th.）
前作「ラブレター」あたりから新たな境地に開拓し始めた hal が自分
の世界を確立したと言える作品がこのアルバムではなかろうか。
ほとんどの曲は hal 本人の詞で、全体的に私小説のようなトータル性
を感じさせる。出だしの [1] からその世界に導入され、歌詞の「です」
「ます」調がプライベート感を引き出している [3] や「生きていたい」
というストレートなフレーズを聴かせる [8] 、高音のサビが独特の
切なさを醸し出す [10] など、まさに二十歳のころの一瞬を１枚のアル
バムに残したような作品だ。
小品だが最後の曲もホッと一息ついてアルバムを締めくくるのに一役
買っている。
最後にこの作品はジャケット写真（及び中の写真）が抜群に良い。
五ッ星評価：★★★★☆

1stは正直ジャケ買い（カワイイけど内容はいまひとつ）だったのですが、このアルバムは駄曲一切なし。2ndから軸はぶれないで深化した印象です。
でもこんな「20歳のころ」はずいぶん大人だなぁ

星いくつでもつけます。女性ボーカルアルバムとして国内外あわせてNO、１です。日本にこんな音楽やってくれる女性いたなんてうれしい。さみしくて切なくてでも暗くはない。楽器の音がいい。くるりの奴がつくった曲すごくいい。梅雨の時期によく聞きました。new wave好きなら聞きなさい。感動。
