「Ｌｏｖｉｎｇ Ｙｏｕ」という素晴らしいベスト版が後に出たため、この「ＭＯＴＨＥＲ」のポジションはそのタイトルのまま、母親としての原由子。　結婚していっそう可愛いさを増した女の子、一番大切なのは子供達だけど、人生を楽しむことも忘れない、そんな理想のお母さんです。

　ＵＦＯ（ピンクレディの別アレンジ）が全体の中で浮いてますが、滑稽で笑えるお母さんが強調されて結局許せてしまいます。　「Ｌｏｖｉｎｇ Ｙｏｕ」に含まれない、星のハーモニー、Ａｎｎｅの街、春待ちロマン等名曲も入っています。　２枚組という優しさの飽和状態で、老若男女を問わず安心してお勧めできます・・・と言いたいのですが、桑田佳祐のいつもの暴走詩「イロイロのパー」に気をつけねば！！

ちょうどこの時期、原さんは『眠れぬ夜のちいさなお話』というアニメを描いていた事もあり、収録曲の殆どがそのタイアップで使われています。中でも『星のハーモニー』や『夜空を見上げれば』は母親としての優しさがよく伝わってきます。桑田さんの楽曲を歌いこなせる原さんも凄いです。

1枚目は、なんだがオールディーズの集まりみたい。ピンクレディーのカヴァーもあるでよ〜。
アルバムタイトルも「かいじゅうのうた」あたりが由来?

2枚目はアダルトでした。えろーいえろーい♪コーラスが桑田さんの裏声なのがまた、、、
