ファン歴の浅い自分ですが、このＣＤには新居さんにはめずらしい、艶っぽい愛の歌などが入っていて印象的でした。
もちろんどれも素晴らしいもので、４番の歌は聴いててちょっぴり切なくなりました。
壮大なイメージの1番の歌もよいですが、菅野さんとのタッグが好きな私としては10番の歌がお勧めです。

ちょっとしあわせになれるこのＣＤは、広く深く暖かい新居さんワールドにゆったりと浸れる、夢の世界のような1枚です。

「そらの庭」久々に聴きました。私は楽曲提供から入ったマニアで、他人に提供するような軽い分かりやすいのを期待してたのにそらの庭は全然違っていて（重い、分かりにくい）、発売当初はがっかり。
で、降るプラチナ→鉱石ラジオ→RGB→エデン、と枚数を重ねるごとに親しみやすくなり…。けど久々に聴いてみると「そらの庭もすげーな。ていうかこっちの方がすごくない？」という気がしてきました。

前作よりも、さらに上質のファンタジーです。そう、もうこれは、曲とか詩とかそういうことを超えてファンタジー作品なのです。

メッセージ性の強い作品がいくつかあるのも、昭乃さんのアルバムとしては特徴的だと思う。
仔猫の死にゆく瞬間に直面した子供たちを描いた「仔猫の心臓」。

テレビでフランスの被爆実験の放送を目にして作ったという「アトムの光」。
いじめられっ子に語りかける「人間の子供」。
親友・種ともこさんの赤ちゃんへ“この世界へようこそ”と送ったという「Little Edie」。（ちなみにエディーではなくイーディーらしい）

どれも現実的な話、のはず。けれど、新居昭乃がやるとなぜかそこに、人間の目には映らない何か、または誰かが、現れる。ファンタジーが生まれている。
このアルバムを一言で表すならば…『涙が出るほど世界は美しい。』
わたしは本当に涙がでた。
