彼女の歌の中でも最も好きな曲のひとつ。晩夏の夕暮れの情景が思い浮かぶ。それは小さい頃よく行った祖父母の家の情景に似ているが、未だ訪れたことのない、Coccoの故郷、沖縄の夕暮れもこんなだろうと勝手に思い、不思議な懐かしさを感じる。

ラプンツェル前後のCoccoは
どこか自分の過去の情念を、惰性でなぞっていた所があると思うけれど
この曲だけは自分の中では別格です。

美しすぎるメロディラインに鮮やかすぎる情景描写…
少女時代への憧れがもたらす諦観と、それすら包み込む母性が
透き通った歌声に宿り…もう言葉に尽くせないほど綺麗な歌。
この世にもっとも美しい形であらわされた郷愁のおもい。

なぜ、こんなに心が揺れるのか。

いつもあの当時のことを思い出す。

助手席でよく歌ってくれたね。
