おそろしく緻密濃密なデジ音。けれどもこれが手法として奇をてらったわけでなく、JAKE不在の付け焼刃でもないことは聴けば瞭然、そのくらい完成度は高く、曲にもぴったり合っている。曲そのものも、ナマ音でじゃ活きないんじゃないかなんて思ってしまうのは、自分の想像力が足らないせいなのだろうか。たぶん否。

一曲目の、緻密濃密デジ音の奥行きと、それに呑まれないFULLヴォーカルとの好対照が快い。二曲目のアルバム未収録曲「Steel Leaf」は特筆されるべき、曲名の示すとおりの無機質的でどこか哀しい情緒を持った、名曲。

真鍮卵はカッコいいです。だけどアルバム「FICKLE BOON」収録ヴァージョンの方がよりズンズンきて、私はそちらの方が好きです。他の方も言っておられますが、2曲目の「Steel Leaf」、これ、名曲です。哀愁のある、且つ強い感じで大好きです。ベストにもオリアルにも収録されてないんで、これだけでも買いです。あ、でもリマスター版のDAZZLEに収録されてんのか。。。
