日本アニメ史に残る84年の映画『マクロス』のサントラをジャケット内容までも完全復刻。羽田健太郎のBGMもさることながら,これでブレイクした飯島真理の主題歌がいい。今にして思えばこの曲,故・安井かずみと加藤和彦の作だったのである。

映画「超時空要塞マクロス 愛・おぼえていますか」の
サウンドトラックです。
すべて良い曲で一つ一つの曲が長いので聞き応えがありますｖ
嫌味の無い素直なメロディが好きですｖCDで聞くと
「ここの部分にこんなメロディが入っていたのか」とか
新しい発見があるので映画を見ていい曲だと思った方はぜひ買いですよｖ

映画の主役の曲といえる「愛・覚えていますか」とEDテーマ「天使の絵の具」
も収録です。ちなみに映画内で流れた「愛・覚えていますか」は
ロングヴァージョンで「マクロスソングコレクション」に収録されています。
これには歌っているときミンメイが感激して泣く部分の間奏がきちんと入っていますｖ

世界が最期を迎えるとき、天使の絵の具を聴きながら消えることができるなら
それは最高の幸せだなと思いました。

天使の絵の具は世界最後のアイドルソングだと思います。
飯島真理は天使。
出だしの「たそがれ〜♪」だけで泣ける。あんなに黄昏を美しく歌った例は他にない。

そして世界が終わる頃には「愛、おぼえていますか？」と人間に聞きたいものです。

フルオーケストラで作成された曲は、豪華です。
空前のマクロスブームの真っ只中で作られただけあって勢いにも乗っていて、
羽田健太郎氏の作曲した曲は単なるＢＧＭで終わらせるにはもったいないと言えます。
