よく練りこまれた音。シニカルさが特に歌詞に映える。生気にはやや欠けるが、その「大人しさ」は否定されるべきものではない。人生を鼓舞するパワーではなくて、人生振り返り際の戸惑いをなだめてくれるような、そういう音楽だと思う。
よく練りこまれた音。クオリティが高い。なかでも "Fade Story" が秀逸。低く落ち着いた音、最高に気持ちの安らぐコード進行。「暖炉のある部屋」という感じにさせてくれる。それに含蓄に富んだ詞。詞は英語で、しかも実はガチガチの文法英語、けれどもそれだけに粗野な感じもせず、詞の内容にはむしろ合っているんじゃないかと思う。

息子（中三）がこの曲を気に入り、自ずと歌詞を憶え、ついでに歌詞中の文法五つ六つをモノにした。そんな感じにいい感じ。

グニュウツールの1stアルバム。当時から持っていました。
テレビで見たIt's usual目当てに購入いたしましたがアルバムで聞くと、
全体を通してイメージとはまた違ったアプローチを感じました。
そしてますます興味深くなりました。
すごく作りこまれていて使われている楽器もバラエティ豊か。
アレンジもかっこいいです。
きっと普通のヴィジュアルロックバンドと思われていた方が多いと思いますので
大間違いなことをお伝えしておきます。
むしろこの１stはぜんぜんロックではございません。
私にとって衝撃の一枚になりました。
