攻撃的に押すばかりでなく、叙情的な曲も登場し始めた。
積極的に進化を求める姿勢は頼もしいけれど、
前作、次作に比べてしまうとやや一曲一曲が弱い感はある。
けれども焦燥感に満ちた「プロレタリア」は名曲だと思います。
決して駄作ではないが傑作とまでは言えず、佳作といった印象のアルバム。

彼らのエナジーには無限の方向性を感じぜすにはいられない。いったいどこまでその冷ややかな視線を飛ばし続けるのだろう。しょっぱなからノイジーな攻勢でいきなり突き倒してくれる。焦燥感や倦怠感や不安感などから若者が社会に抱く猜疑心までを網羅しつつも、そのすべてを一掃してくれるサウンドの潔さ。ロンドン・レコーディング、話題の女性エンジニア、アンジャリ・ダットを起用。衝撃度はさらに高い。

確かにこのアルバムには、下の人達が言うような激しさはない。
なので、純粋に危ないパンクロックっぽいのを求めるならP.O.Pとかのほうがいいかもしれない。
だけど僕はこのアルバム全体に漂う少し幻想的な雰囲気が好き。
オルゴヲルとかTOO FLATとか古い時計とか・・・他のアルバムにはない良さがある。
