オープニングからON-U系の重いダブで幕を開け、レイジ・
アゲインスト・ザ・マシーンを彷彿させるノイジーな
ロック、変拍子の導入、ジャジーな曲調、などなど「狂った
太陽」以降のBUCK-TICKの音楽的冒険が結実した大傑作。
櫻井敦司の詞も自己否定美学をつきつめ、歌いまわしも
表情を豊かにしている。

BUCK-TICK入門者から「BUCK-TICKってビジュアル系でしょ」と
未だに思ってる洋楽ファンまで全ての人にオススメできる一枚。

BUCK-TICKのアルバムを改めて聴くと先を行き過ぎてると感じる。
5年後10年後の音楽をやっているのだから。
異常なほどの先進性。

世界の最先端を行くバンド。
このバンドが無かったら日本の音楽は10年遅れていた。

これはもうBUCK-TICKだけが持っているディープでダークなアルバムで、これがホントのロックであると思います。

他のロックバンドはなんだか軽い感じに見えて、あまりにもカラフルでチャラチャラしすぎているように見える。確かにそれはそれでいいのだけど、なんか物足りない。そんなことを感じている方にはオススメのアルバムです。

闇の中へ入り込んでいってしまうような世界。それがBUCK-TICKだけが持ちうる世界観です。
