一曲目からして林昌さんのデビュー盤であったり、昭和２５年当時の歌声
やら、共演者も登川誠仁や大城美佐子他も豪華。
女性陣の猫のような高音の歌声も素敵。たんたんと時には陽気に染み入る
歌と三線。さらりと歌っているようで、あんなに聴こえてくる歌を歌える
のはやはり伝説になる人だからでしょう。沖縄本島の歌から八重山の歌
まで、遊びの歌から重みのある歌まで沖縄という土地の自然と恋愛、
日々の生活、そして戦争。たくさんのことがそのまま音楽、歌になって
いるみたいです。歌詞カードも年譜や曲ごとに解説や逸話など、
大変面白く、いかに林昌さんが愛されているかがよく判ります。
