収録の「ビリーヴ」はシングルと異なるリミックスだったり、あなどれないベスト盤。リマスタリングされた最近のベストよりも、音が太いのは、当時のビクターの特徴。タイトに引き締まった中音域は「とても聴きやすい!」。音質でも大名盤。

声だけ聴いても「これは松本伊代である」というのが、
モロわかりにわかるシングルベストである。
デビュー曲から18曲目まで順番に入っているが、
「ビリーヴ」だけが、シングルと若干ミックスが違う。
（…と言っても、スネアのチャンネルが違うくらいである）
曲は、かなり好き好きに分かれると思われるが、
個人的にはキライではない。
歌のうまい下手はとりあえず置いといて、
いわゆる「泣き」の声をうまく生かした曲のつくりや、
企画物スレスレの曲を、独自のスタイルでこなすあたりは、
作られたアイドルとしての歌唱では、満点だと思う。
だが、欲を言えば、途中ニューミュージック系の作家を、
かなり起用して、次へのスタンスの踏み出しに入ったあたりで、
いろいろこなし過ぎて、路線がわからなくなっている時期がある。
やはりそういう時期は、曲のノリがおもしろくない。
アイドルは、1球ずつが勝負なので、
やはりもう少し神経を使って欲しかった気もする。

まるでトトなバックの演奏にやけにクールな声がかぶさる。声はまるでゲーリーニューマン。音程があっているのだかあっていないのだかよくわからない部分がとってもスリリング。ほんとのトトがバックやってたらえらいこっちゃですが。こういう風景が当たり前な８０年代なのでした。ハスキーボイスでキュートなシンガーでした。１０点中１０点
