前作から三年余り。人気映画の第二弾の為に組まれた本サントラ('87年作)では、前作でヒットを飛ばしたポインター・シスターズ([2])を始め、久しぶりのベテラン・アメリカン・ロッカー、ボブ・シーガー([1])がリストされているのが嬉しい所です。
また、この後暫くして"ガールフレンド"等のヒットを飛ばす事になるペブルス([7])等も参加しているのが興味深いですね。
ワム！解散後からソロ1stをリリースする直前のジョージ・マイケルの[5]の採用等も、なかなか先遣の明があると言えるかもしれません。
まあ、娯楽映画のサントラという面から、トータル性やまとまりといった点を求めるのは端から間違いかも知れませんが、まぁ、それはそれで(映画と同じく)はちゃめちゃで面白いとも言えるでしょう。
