1992年発表。ダイアナ・クラールのデビュー作。ノース・ハリウッドのキングサウンド・スタジオで1992年10月18・19日に録音。
11曲中6曲のアレンジまで彼女が手掛け、歌に特にピアノに才能が滲み出たアルバムで、ダイアナ・クラールのファンは『The Early Recording』として、宿命的に手に入れねばならないアイテムになっている（●＾o＾●）。
何となく彼女の考えるジャズの原形とかが感じられてその点でも興味が尽きない。古いジャズの持っている『癒し』が彼女のハスキーな声に乗って、めちゃくちゃ素敵な空間を作りだす。その上美人なのだから始末に負えない（●＾o＾●）。このアルバムの頃の彼女は今より若干ぽっちゃりしているが、十二分に輝いている。

今年のオスカーを総なめにしたクイント・イーストウッドが次回作で彼女の音楽を使うようだが、それも当然と思わせる輝きが既にある。

ダイアナ・クラールのデビュー作．スタンダード曲もよりモダンな曲も散りばめられたいかにも自然体なデビュー作．パーカッシブなものもバラードも，ヴォーカルあり，なしも程よく混ざっていて全く飽きない．今の演奏スタイルとは違うところもあって，そういう部分を聞き比べてみるのも楽しみ方のひとつ．1曲目の「This Can't Be Love」と最後の「As long as I live」が特に印象的．
