　上杉昇という男の内面世界、すなわちal.ni.coが追求した世界観の全てが詰まった名曲中の名曲。
　物悲しい終末観に包まれるイントロ。冬枯れの荒野、吹きすさぶ嵐の中の一本の枯れ木・・・風の音を引き裂くように入ってくるさびたボーカル。ストリングスを駆使した壮大なアレンジに見も心も異世界へと連れ去られ、再びこの世界に舞い戻る事は無いかのような錯覚に陥る。
　「最果ての地　その先」「安息は永劫へと変わりゆくだろう」・・・そんな死を予感させる歌詞に激しい孤独を感じさせながら、逆説的に生、希望をも抱かせる。
　「晴れた　終わり」。タイトルがその全てを物語っている。
