☆ジョージ・マイケルというのは、あの「ラスト・クリスマス」を歌ったワムのひとりだと言えばおわかりでしょう。ワムというとアイドル的なセールスをしていたのですが、ジョージ・マイケルがソロになってからはそのイメージから脱することが本人の意識の中にあったようです。ときどき、レコード会社とのトラブルも耳にしましたが、とにかくそのただならぬ才能が改めて認められたと伺われます。この“OLDER”は、全体的にミディアムテンポな曲で構成されていますが超傑作だと思います。その後、この“OLDER”と“UPPER”（“OLDER”のREMIX版）の２枚組（スペシャル・エデション）がリリースされました。とにかく良いので、ぜひ聞いてほしい１枚です。
