１９８７年にTV放送された「きまぐれオレンジ☆ロード」の最後のサントラです。　
当時のOPで流れていた「NIGHT OF SUMMER SIDE」「オレンジ・ミステリー」「鏡の中のアクトレス」　ED曲の「夏のミラージュ」「悲しいハートは燃えている」「ダンス・イン・ザ・メモリーズ」の合計６曲をキャラの台詞なしで一枚にコンプしている唯一のCDです。（以前にあったオレンジ・ステーションはキャラの会話が曲にかぶっていたりします）

私個人はこの６曲はどれも隠れた名曲だと思っています。その他にも劇場版「あの日にかえりたい」の挿入歌、ED曲なども収録されており、盛りだくさんのCDサントラです。

OP、ED以外にもキャラクターソングが収録されており、大好きな曲ばかりでした。中学の頃、はまったのでカセットテープの頃このアルバム持ってましたがその頃のテープは、もう持っていないのでまた聴きたくなり購入しました。オレンジロードファンの人には、懐かしい曲ばかりで
オススメです。

ＴＶ放送で流れた六つの歌は非常に良いと思います。
もしそれらの楽曲に少なからぬ思い入れがあるのなら、
ぜひ購入するべきだと思います。
