たとえば、春の匂い。そよぐ風に思う、押さえきれない瑞々しさとさわやかな香しさ。薄着の身体の下から吹き出しそうな、温かくまろやかな予感と微動。するどいセンスも濃密な知性も不粋な、眠っていた感覚の発揮。それらは目でもなければ耳でもない、鼻腔や皮膚といった器官でもって“呼吸”のごとく受け止められる。メンバー脱退を経て新生トリオとなった彼らのセカンド・アルバムにも、おなじ“呼吸”を感じずにはいられない。多彩な参加ミュージシャン(阿部義晴の名が!)とともに展開される、誰もがキュートに恋してしまうギター・ポップ節は絶好調。彼らが何気なく選択している無理のなさ不自然さのなさを、そっくりそのまま腹から咽から表現している。ある瞬間彼らを襲った、さわやかに甘く満ち足りた気持ちが、奏でられるすべての音にこめられているよう。深呼吸で聴くアルバムのかたわらで、“春”にやられてしまうのも幸福な風景かもしれない。 (堀由希子) --- 2000年05月号

今回のベストトラックは３曲目のめまいでしょう。誰にでも思い当たる過去をあまり悲しくなりすぎずに歌い上げるあたりさすがです。みんな過去を抱えて今を生きているんだと実感できる名曲だと思います。

lucyいわく、あえてこの長さにしたらしいです。正直欲張りさんには短く思うかもしれないけど、中身重視ってことで・・・
全体的にキュートな感じです。おすすめです！

　アイコの歌声は、二つの系統に分けられる。ひとつは、シトラスに代表される、どこまでも伸びていく広がりのある声。もうひとつは、every time everywhere, I’m blueに代表される、ウィスパー。ふたつはもちろん曲によって使い分けられていて、交わることがなかったが、グッバイあたりから変質を見せ、二つの声が交わり始める。前作ファンファーレでは石坂のメロディと見事に合わさり傑作となったが、STATIONに収録されている曲では、不幸にもメロディとの乖離も見られる。今まで、アイコの伸びやかな声が詩の広がりを表現していただけに、ヴォーカルの変質によってルーシーはその世界を狭めてしまった。
　救いは５曲目：風にあずけて、8曲目：兎
