ユーミンのアルバムベスト５に入ると思います！
一曲一曲の存在感が、すごく大きい。
お勧め曲はたくさんありますが、シングル、「ダンデライオン」はとにかく素晴らしい名曲です。私が初めて耳にしたユーミンソングでしたが、サビ部分のやさしくほんの少し切なくなるようなメロディに子供ながら「なんて綺麗な曲なんだろ」と感じたのを覚えています。

あと、「不思議な体験」。聴いていると大きな感動すら覚えてしまう曲です。
キャッチーな一曲目の「ガールフレンド」、どこか懐かしいようなやさしいような「青い船で」、セルフカバーの超名曲「時をかける少女」と全て聴いてほしいです。

アルバムのタイトルのように、自分が慣れ親しんだ土地を離れた時、ふと覚えた懐かしさ…何だかそんな気持ちを曲にして集めたような、そんなアルバムです。

ユーミンは、「デイライト・・・」までは、大好きでした。理由は、機械リズムが大勢を占め始めたのと、曲に魅力が薄れてきた気がしたので。でも、今でも素敵な活動をされているし、ライブもたまに行きます。で、彼女のアルバムは、基本的には優劣をつけ難いのですが、これはその中でも大好きな部類の一枚です。とりわけ、曲が素晴らしい。特にレコードでいうＢ面の「ハートブレイク」、「トロピック　オブ　カプリコーン」、「時をかける少女」が大好き。なんていうか、全体的にパワーが漲っている感じがします。やっぱり、林立夫さんのドラムと高水健司さんのベースが、合っているからなのかな？

　摩天楼の空をプールに見立てた幻想的なジャケットデザインが印象的な'83年の作品。ＳＦ的なタイトルだが，ロック・オペラ調の大作もあった前作『Reincarnation』とは違って，都会的で洗練されたナンバーが揃ったコンテポラリー・アルバムに仕上がっている。知名度では「時をかける少女」が一番だろうが，実はもっといい曲が多く収録されている素晴らしいアルバムである。
　「ガールフレンズ」，「結婚ルーレット」，「ハートブレイク」などは，いかにもユーミンらしい華やかで洒落た雰囲気のポップス。その一方でアンニュイな「Typhoon」，胸が痛くなるほどピュアで素朴な「ダンデライオン~遅咲きのたんぽぽ」といったバラードもある。
　個人的にはメロウなアップテンポ「Tropic Of Capricorn」，メロディアスだが悲しげなバラード「青い船で」がお薦め。特に「青い船で」は悲しげなメロディーの中にも深い優しさにも似た独特の魅力があり，よく聴いたものである。
　和製ＡＯＲとでも言うべきか，都会的で洗練された曲が揃う充実した内容のコンテポラリー・アルバムだ。
