どの曲もココロの奥にズーンと響く。
高校生の頃からずっと聴いてるけど、「セシルの週末」が大好き。他の曲も…ユーミンのアルバムはレコード時代、出る度ずっと買ってましたが、このアルバムが一番好きかも知れない。この頃、どこかでユーミンのインタビューを読んだことがあり「人間、どん底の時には、創作は最高の物が出来る」てな内容でした。彼女の中で「どん底」がどんな状態だったのか知る由もないけれど、そんな状況だった時もあるユーミンに親近感を感じるし、そのお陰でこのアルバムが出来たのか、と思うと何が効を奏すかわからないものだと、人生を楽しむ余裕もくれたアルバムです。

~息の長いアーティストには、必ずと言っていいほど１枚や２枚は
「変わり種アルバム」というのがあると思うんですが、これは
ユーミンの音楽史上、本当に衝撃的なアルバムだと思うんです。
実は僕はユーミンファンではないのですが、このアルバムだけは20年くらいもの間、
何千回も聞いています。カラッとした湿度の低い音楽がユーミンの音楽だと思ってい
~~ましたが、これだけは違います。やたらと湿度の高い、背景の暗い楽曲揃いです。
当時、どんな気持ちでこれを作ったのか、売れ行きはどうだったのか興味は尽きません。
本人に直接お聞きしたい気持ちでいっぱいです。（笑）~

完璧なアルバムです
特に雨に消えたジョガー、コンパートメント、水の影が好きです
コンパートメントは列車の車両での睡眠薬自殺を歌った曲で他の方も書いておられましたが
本当に映画みたいです… ユーミンと正隆さんの才能にひたすら圧倒されるばかり。
水の影は芸術性に富んだ和風の美しい一曲。
雨に消えたジョガーは白血病で死んだ陸上選手の物語です

こんなに濃いアルバムあるでしょうかって思うくらいボリュームたっぷりの1枚です
是非聴いてみてください
