高校生の時に行ったアルバム発売前に合わせて行われたツアー（「King Of Live」というライブアルバムに収録されています。）では、ノリノリのロック・コンサートを期待していた僕は正直、盛り上がれなかった思い出があります。アップ・テンポな曲は影をひそめ、スカスカのサウンドとミディアム・テンポな曲が大部分を占めています。初期のビートルズのようなステレオの左右バランスで、暇だった僕は片方のスピーカーの音を消して聴いてみたりしていました。永遠の少年、清志郎のみずみずしい感性がひしひしと伝わってきて、RCのアルバムの中で個人的に一番好きです。

このアルバムこそがＲＣサクセションの最高傑作だと思っているのは、中１の時に初めて買ったアルバムだからだ。その当時はＣＤは発売されておらず、ＬＰかカセットテープしかなかった。
ＬＰではなくカセットテープを買った理由は今となっては思い出せないが、そんなことはどうでもいい。

中学･高校とミニコンポやウォークマンで聴きまくり、社会人になってからはカーステレオでずっと聴いていた。
カーステレオも、ミニコンポも買い換えてしまったので、カセットテープが聴けなくなってしまった。
今やＣＤとＭＤの時代だ。
媒体が何であろうと価値は変わらない。しかも、当時より値段が下がっている。

くだらねぇジャリどもの歌なんか聞いてないで、とにかく聴け！

《中期》RCサクセションの始まりとも言える、傑作アルバムです。特に、2曲目の「OH!BABY」が好きです。この曲の歌詞の一節に、こんな言葉があります。

OH!BABY
ぼくをまいらせてしまう
どんな事よりも
重くのしかかる

この気持ちは、よく分かります。何とも言えず、深い世界です。
