Laputaらしさがよく出ている、インディーズ時代の傑作。ダークなヴィジュアル系の王道がここにある！
「泥〜IN BOG…IN WORST〜」は激しく扇情的なサウンド。渦を巻きうねる群集が思い浮かんでくる。鬼気迫るシャウトとよく通るハイトーンの歌声が組み合わさったサビもすごい。泥の中に手を突っ込んで何かを、答えを探している、爪の間に土や小石が挟まり、血が滲みボロボロになり、泥まみれになりながら「見つからない！見つからない！」と叫んでいる。自暴自棄になって暴れている。どん底。
「Insatiable」は前作「眩暈」のバージョンのリメイク。歌が増え、歌い方も変化。こっちの方が好きです。ハードなのだが、サビは美しい透明感、更にクライマックスではその透明感の中から狂気が滲み始め、激しい熱狂へと…。
「an eternity」はインディーズ期の名曲。激しい勢いがあり、メロディアスで爽快。
「Vertigo」は非常に美しく切ない。心地良いスピードに乗って今にも泣き出してしまいそうな悲哀をぶちまける。歌・演奏ともに胸をギューっと締め付けてくる。「眩暈」のバージョンよりもこっちの方が良い。
「奈落の底」は初期の名曲、デモテープ作品のリメイク。激しく叩きつけるような演奏と歌、それでいて印象的なメロディー。とにかく絶望的な世界。激しくまくしたて、崩れ落ちていくような最後の展開も非常にカッコイイ。

前作、眩暈という綺麗なアルバムで溜まった鬱憤を爆発させた初のコンセプトアルバム。「廃人」というキーワードの元に、リメイク三曲、新曲二曲が収録されている。全体的に勢いのよい作品が多く、「奈落の底」はその最たるものだろう。だが、「vertigo」という非常に美しいナンバーを入れることも忘れていない。Vo akiの妖艶かつ毒のある歌声を始め、四人の個性がいかんなく発揮された作品と言える。

前作、眩暈で溜まった欲求不満を爆発させた初のコンセプトアルバム。キーワード「廃人」の元に、勢いあふれる曲が勢揃い。そんな中でも、vertigoという美しいナンバーを入れることも忘れていない。既にライブの定番曲となっていた奈落の底も、現在の四人で改めて収録された。彼等を知る上で欠かせないアルバムだと思う。五曲中二曲は眩暈の中からリメイクしたものだが、全く違う印象を受けるのでご安心を。
