基本的にうたとピアノだけの、あまりにもピュアな世界にノックアウトされました。曲数が少ないからどうかと思っていたら、１曲１曲がディープで、お腹いっぱいになりました。矢野顕子が好きな人は絶対はまると思います。cobaが奏でるアコーディオンとのコラボレーションも楽しめます。《こころ》は歴史に残る１曲でしょう。

アン･サリーもカバーした名曲「こころ」を含む7曲入りミニアルバム(1998年作)。

その「こころ」ですが、アン･サリーのバージョンよりもオリジナルは遥かに素晴らしく、情感の込め方が感動的です。他の曲が矢野顕子の影響が強すぎるところがあるのに対して、「こころ」では非常にナチュラルな歌唱をしているのもプラスです。この1曲を聴くだけでも、このアルバムは★5つを付けてしまいます。それくらい近年稀に見る名曲。その他の曲ですが、前述の通り、矢野顕子の影がちらほらと現れていますが、それでも心を込めて歌うピアノ一本での弾き語りには説得力があり、全曲力強く聴かせます。7曲28分と短いのも、ここではプラスに働いていると思います。

最近はライヴでもラヴソングの比率が少なくなってきた彼女の１００％ラヴソング集として唯一無二の貴重盤。
権利関係の問題か、それ以前のアルバムが復活する中で、彼女にとって最高のアルバムが陽の目を見なくなっているのは残念至極。

シンプルな楽器構成ながらそれぞれの曲が盛り上がっているのはエンジニアの腕によるところが大きいと思えてならない。
