まず、メンバーがスゴイです。
鈴木茂、斉藤ノブ、林立夫、高中正義、Ｊａｋｅ．Ｈ．Ｃｏｎｃｅｐｔｉｏｎ、
松任谷正隆、山本潤子、ｅｔｃ…。
そしてバックの豪華さはもちろん、何よりユーミンの歌唱そのものが
“スゴイ”ものであることを実感させられるライヴ盤です。
とはいえ、やっぱり生で聴く迫力には遠く及ばないのですけれど。それでも

日本人の作り出しうる、最高に格好良い音楽のひとつのかたちがここに集約
されているように思います。

歌が下手だ、自分の歌唱力以上の曲を書く…なんてさんざん語られてきた
彼女ですが、やはり彼女以上に『Ｙｕｍｉｎｇ』の世界を圧倒的に表現
できる唄い手は存在しません。情感たっぷりの弾き語り・「ひこうき雲」
は文句なく素晴らしい。

いちばんの聴きどころは、「雨のステイション」２コーラスあたり~
「１４番目の月」までの、鳥肌モンのグルーヴ感でしょうか。ぜひぜひ
音量大きめのヘッドフォンで、じっくり聴いてもらいたいです。
ちなみに同じコンサートのライヴビデオ＆ＤＶＤには
「チャイニーズ・スープ」のかわりに、あのサディスティック・ミカ・バンド

と一緒に演った「タイムマシンにおねがい」が収録されています。

コンサートパンフを再現したブックレット付きで、完全初回生産限定盤です。
これ読んで下さってるかた、ちょっとでも迷ったら買いましょう~。
うわ、長くなった（汗）＜語りすぎだ。

これ、ビデオもあります。違いは、ビデオだと高橋幸宏、高中正義、ミカによる「タイムマシンにお願い」が見れること。代わりにこちらは「チャイニーズ　スープ」が聴けます。ＣＤなので、映像は見えませんが、バックのサウンドとアレンジが最高です。まあ、荒井由美時代を支えた、日本のトップスタジオミュージシャンの演奏だから、あたりまえか。でも、久々カムバックの林立夫さんのドラム、超カッコイイし、ノブさんのパーカッションもすごい。また、旦那の松任谷正隆氏のエレピの上手いこと！「コバルトアワー」のエレピ、最高です。嬉しいのは、あの石川ひとみの「まちぶせ」を歌っていること。いいなあ。どちらかというとビデオ買うほうが良いかもしれませんが、サウンドとしては満点です。強いていえば、ベースが細野さんじゃないことか。でも、現ツアーメンバーの田中さんもカッコイイぞ。買いです。

私自身、正直、荒井由実時代のファンであり、ユーミンという、総体には、関心が無い。しかし、このライブアルバムは、買ってよかった。人生４０ぐらいまで、生きると、迷いやらなんやり、いろいろ出てきますが、このアルバム聴くと、真面目に目の前のことを、懸命に、いかに、センスよく、やるかという、当然な結論に達する。このアルバムから何を学ぶかは、自由だが、同世代でない私にも、泣けてくるのは、なぜなのか？荒井由実の天才ぶりか、バックの人達の熟練した演奏振りなのか？ただ、弾き語りの「ひこうき雲」は、RCの「ヒッピーに捧ぐ」のように、泣けます。19でこんな曲書かれたら言うことありません。中古で安いうちに・・・
