ヒット曲「マイピュアレディ」に加え、初期のアルバムのシェイディ（２曲）、マインドドロップス（８曲）、ストップモーション（６曲）、プリズミイ（６曲）、リトルファンタジー（７曲）からそれぞれ抜粋した２枚組ベスト。ストップモーションを除いて、初期のアルバムはほとんど廃盤になっている現状で、それらの収録曲を聞くためには、ＣＤではこのアルバムが手っ取り早い。懐かしい曲がたくさん聞けて幸せだけど、ジャケットと歌詞カードがやたら簡素なのが残念。初期のアルバムのジャケットは、彼女の写真がすごく魅力的だったのですが。

各曲の初出年度、収録アルバム、参加ミュージシャンなどがないベスト盤は世の中に結構あるけど、アレンジャーの表記もないってのはどういうこと！？

オフィシャルのレコード会社が出したベスト盤とは思えない雑な作り。なんでも取りあえず出しときゃいいんでしょって感じがありあり。
こんな扱いじゃあまりにアーティストやレコーディング参加者がかわいそう。
今は亡き東芝EMIからの発売だが、こんなにアーティストを軽く扱う失礼な会社はなくなって当然だと思う。

70年代後半~80年代はじめにかけて、ニューミュージックの流行の中で活躍した尾崎亜美の初期のベスト版２枚組。代表曲「マイピュアレディ」「春の予感」「FOR YOU」などファッション関係、化粧品会社のＣＭ等に使われた曲が多く、親しみやすいメロディーが特徴だ。
甘ったるい声ながら、しっかりとした歌唱力が聞いていて安心する。

当時のニューミュージックは、悪く言えば「歌謡曲的」な、良く言えば「誰にでも親しみやすい」楽曲が多かったような気がする。
「リトルファンタジー」以降の活躍は知らないが、当時の音楽シーンを盛り上げた女性シンガーのひとりであったことは確か。

天気の良い日の目覚めに、メロウな（死語か？）昼下がりに、聞くのにピッタリ！

↓の人が書いているように、ジャケットと歌詞カードに工夫が欲しかった。

それにしても「亜美」が「アミー（もしくはアミィ）」だとは、このベスト版を買うまで知らなかった。
