現在、こちらの作品の10th Anniversary editionも発売されていますが
私が持っているのはオリジナルの方で『もう１０年も経つのか…』といった感じです。

このアルバム、とっても内容が濃くて何度聴いても楽しいです。
ヒットした「ガッツだぜ！！」「バンザイ好きでよかった」も収録されているし
「大阪ストラット」「ダメなものはダメ」もノリがよくて好きです。
これぞウルフルズ！といったファンキーな曲が楽しめて、いつの間にか元気になれます。
歌詞も大変面白い。内容からして“買ってよかった〜”と思えた１枚です。

今だから話せますが、高校を出て６年間働いた会社を前年の暮れに退職したもの、給料は多いけど交代制の仕事で精神的に参っていたことでニート状態になってしまい、親のお見合いプレッシャーで退職金で遊びまくっていたときにテレビから流れたのが「ガッツだぜ！！」でした。

その年の春に事情があって東京のいとこのアパートに居候していたときに秋葉原の某レコード店で買ったのがこのアルバムでした。

収録曲で面白いのが植木等風の「てんてこまいマイ・マインド」大阪賛歌の「大阪ストラット」会話に大爆笑の「ダメなものはダメ」です。

「ガッツだぜ！！」は後にダンディ坂野さんがカバーしたけど、ウルフルズの曲に勇気つけられたと言う人は多いと思います。

ウルフルズという「椅子」を確立させた１枚。
ベスト盤かと思ってしまうような完成度です（笑）

最近のライブでもこのアルバム中のナンバ-は（定番化しているので）
歌われていますよ。
「ベストだぜ！」と並んでウルフルズは始めて！の方にオススメしま
す。
