安室奈美恵の活動ヒストリーを、３つに分けると、
１：J-EURO・スーパーモンキーズ時代
２：小室プロデュース時代
３：Queen of ヒップポップ時代~
に分けられると思うが、この作品は１の時代に唯一、そして
東芝EMI在籍時代に発表された唯一のオリジナルアルバムだ。

スーパーモンキーズ名義の作品も収められているが、全体的に
アイドルポップス系のトーンで統一されているので通しで聴ける逸作。
この当時すでに大物を予感させる部分も要所要所で登場するため、
現在のファンも嫌煙せずに聴いていただきたい。
ジョニー氏の功績といえるアイドルユーロカバーの魁！なダンスナンバーが
中心で、ヒット曲｢try me｣｢太陽のseason｣などもきっちり収録された
満足のいく内容。
そんななかで個人的に推したいのはアニメタイアップも
ついた｢ダンシングジャンク｣：はっきり言ってダサかっこいいが、
ヒップポップの先見感がすばらしい。who are youぅ~~の崩し方もかっこいい。
SPEED系アイドルラップの元祖と言える出来のボーカルワークもなかなか。
。。｢SO CRAZY｣のRapと聴き比べるのも楽しいかも。。
これをはじめユーロ以外のオリジナル曲もまあまあ。
渡辺なつみ、星野靖彦など後にエイベックス周辺で活躍する
ライターも多く参加していると言えば楽曲の質には納得できるでアロー。

ボーナストラックとして収録されている｢太陽の~｣のサルサリミックスは
いい意味で肩の力がぬけていて、心地よく、不思議とハマる。
リミキサーはGTSのSatoshi Hidaka（！）

ユーロのカバーを歌っていた安室奈美恵さん。売れはじめたのがこの頃です。初心に返ってユーロを歌ってとはいいませんが、安室奈美恵さんしか歌えない曲というものをこれからも歌って欲しいです。
