ところで、なぜいきなり廃盤になったのでしょう?知っていらっしゃる方、教えていただけないでしょうか。さて、本作、当初から、ファンキーでグルーヴィーなサウンドは完成されていた。いろんな肉付けをして、大阪ストラットやガッツだぜに向かうのです。全然聴き劣りしない、名盤です。

5.0 out of 5 stars まだ完成はしてないがウルフルズの要素は既に全部ある, 2009/7/16
初期ウルフルズどころか最初、ウルフルズのファーストアルバムである。13曲あるが収録時間は37分と短い。という事はそれぞれの曲が短いという事で、それは言い変えると勢いがあるという事である。実際駆け抜けるように時にパワフルに、時に楽しくババーッと流れ、そしてババーッと去っていく。一瞬である。ではゆっくりする暇、しんみりできるような箇所はないのか。そんなわけがない。これはウルフルズである。一曲目二曲目続いて元気が良かったところで三曲目さっそく女々しく（逆に男らしい？）「僕の方がいいのに・・・僕の方がいいのに・・・」と繰り返し歌い始める。「冬はもう寒いだけ　外に出て凍えて　ああもう帰りたい」と切なさ満天である。「ＴＶとかラジオとかビデオとかそんなにいいのかい　僕の方がいいのに」これほど単純かつ的確にピンポイントで男心を表した歌詞があるだろうか。『悲しくない』は悲しくない悲しくないと繰り返す歌だがこれが逆に切ない。で、切ないばかりかというとやっぱり元気の出てくる歌も多数。『逃げろ』は1分もない曲でこれはもうネタ、ギャグである。面白い。彼らはカバー曲もやるが『いつも元気』はカバー曲。自分で日本語に訳して歌っている。代表曲レベルかと思われる『いい女』も既に存在。さらには『いい儲け』なんかは「金儲けばっかでいーのかよ！」と歌う若干社会批判系のパンクっぽい歌詞で他のアルバムではあまり見られない一面。そして締めはご存知、切ない名曲『やぶれかぶれ』。これがまた完璧な締め。さて以上のことから言える事、それは要するに何かというとこのファーストアルバムにはウルフルズのいいとこが全部出てるという事。以上。
