もちろん全曲通して好きですが「二人のパイレーツ」がラストにあるだけでもこのアルバムの価値は文句なしに保存版級です。二人のパイレーツ大好きです。それを作ったユーミンも大好きです。

80年代のとがった感じの音色ではなく、ベースやスネアのアタックは柔らか緩め。色恋いから離れた2曲目｢HOZHO GOH｣のような歌詞をどんどん書いてもらいたいところ。たぶん有名曲｢真夏の夜の夢｣。以外にアコースティックな作り。フェアライト風リバース音が懐かしい。｢二人のパイレーツ｣、ピアノのイントロに期待は膨らむのだが、甘めの歌唱にがっかり。民族音楽、ロック、弾き語りと味付けはあるものの中途半端な印象。

このアルバムで良いのは「真夏の夜の夢」だけでしょう。
他の曲は色々な趣向はこらしているものの、基本であるメロディーや
歌詞が中途半端に聞こえます。
「真夏の夜の夢」が良く出来た曲だから、よけいにそれが目立ちます。
