どっかのヤマシがデマを流していると信じたい。
よく言うぜ、あの野郎よく言うぜって帰ってきてほしい。
悲しくてモノも言えません。

でも伝えたい。

高校の時のバンドブーム時では、ちょっとボス的な存在で、
大学に入ってから、この２枚のベスト盤を手始めに聴き始めた。
つまり、その時には活動休止していた。
もう一枚のが、不遇の初期作からCHABOが加入してブレイクするまで。
そんでこの一枚が絶頂期から、色々あって、また最後に３人編成になるまで。
もちろん、オリジナルアルバムで聴かなきゃとは思いますが、
ベスト盤としては、いい編集になっていると思います。

メインストリームで生きてこなかった人だから、
そんなに大々的に取り挙げられないかもしれないが、
日本のロック界にとっては長嶋茂雄並みの存在だと思います。
それキッカケで聴きたいと思った人は、
このベスト盤を２枚まとめて聴いて下さい。

現在35歳の私は子供の頃からよくRCの曲を聴いていたが、81〜90年の曲を収録したこのアルバム改めて聴き直してみると、名曲が多い印象を受けた。

特に「SUMMER　TOUR」や「不思議」、「山のふもとで犬と暮している」などは耳に残っていた。

清志郎氏は昨年病を患って心配であったが、これからも独特の歌声でファンを楽しませて欲しい。

同じようなベスト盤が後で出ていますが、こちらには「山のふもとで犬と暮している」や「海辺のワインディング・ロード」が入っています。「HEART ACE」が好きなんです。
選曲も悪くなく、まとまっていると思います。
「1970〜1980」とセットで。
