これは思い出の品。その当時、ＴＢＳの社員かなんかが日本人で
はじめて宇宙へ行くということで、その特番のテーマソングになって
いました＞＞セイヴ・アワ・シップ　ここではじめてユーミンを知りました。
だからこの作品を聞くと、今でも宇宙を連想してしまう。しかし大人に
なった今聞くと、サラリーマンやキャリア・ウーマンの哀愁も感じてしまう
という、夢と現実が混合したアルバムなのです。

オープニングから始まる明るいサウンド。
気分が乗っている時、ドライブの道連れにふさわしい明るい曲のアルバムです。
楽しい時にこのアルバムを聞くと、あとでアルバムを聞いた時、楽しかった思い出が浮かんできます。

200万枚のセールスを遂げたモンスターアルバム。内容も今聞いてもいろいろ発見があります。どうしても『MissBROADCAST』『ManIntheMoon』などはバブリーな時代が感じられて古さを感じるのは事実ですが、『残暑』の情緒豊かさや『時はかげろう』の詩のセンスの良さ『満月のフォーチュン』のスケールの大きさなど今聞いても素晴らしいアルバムです。
