時間よ止まれ以来約３０年の矢沢ファンです。アルバムとしては私のベスト３に入る名盤です。矢沢の不良中年っぱさがよく出てると思います。Dancing OnThe Beachのノリ、Diamonnd Moonのしっとり感、最高です。

１０年以上前に放送していた「ホットドック」の主題歌にピュア・ゴールドがながれていました。主題歌以上に好きだったのが、挿入歌のダイアモンド・ムーン。ドラマの最後の方で流れてきて、泣かせる曲でした。今聞き直しても当時のドラマの内容が甦ってきます。

ロンドンから再びL.A.に戻ってのアルバム。やはり音はパワフルだし、ミュージシャンの質も一枚上だ。しかも、これぞ王道！のヤザワメロディーが随所にみられ、普通なら大満足の一枚になる。はずなのだが、どうもこれが変だ。今一つ感動に繋がって行かない。何か、仏造って魂入れず、といった感じがする。しかし、このアルバムには最後に宝物のような爆弾が、ひとつある。「ＧＥＴ　ＵＰ」だ。おかげで、このアルバムが手放せないし、星も一つ増えたのである。
